First off, I head out to the Airport to get Kelsntegs,Momand2girls and Zmzm.
Netgirl drove in from New York.
I got to the airport later then I had originally hoped. Jotting down the row and number of the parking garage location of my car.
I dashed into the airport to find Kels gate number.
Which I might add, arrived a half hour earlier then they said it
would, but all was not lost. I got there in plenty of time.
I watched in anticipation thinking OMG will she recognize me
from pictures. Will I recognize her???*S*
The plane practically empties out, I was thinking Oh My Gosh
she changed her mind at the last minute!!
Then low and behold...there she is. I smiled and said Melissa?
We both busted out in KELSSSSSSSS....PATCHYYYYYY...hugs all around!
Kelsntegs is as much personality as she is in Live chat and then some.*S*
We sat and talked awaiting Momand and Zm's flight.
I remember thinking how neat it is to actually sit, look and
talk to this person I have spent endless days/hours for so long over the Internet.
It was really Kewl!
Then the next flight came in. We kept saying I wonder if Mom chickened out? hehehe,
I wonder if She will recognize us? The plane empties out again!
THERE THEY WERE! MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! and
ZMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM as heads spin off their
shoulders from on-lookers at the airport! *S*
Then we gab a few minutes about the flights ect.
Off to pick up more baggage.
BTW the Elevators do not go where they say they will, and
SOME don't go at all
so pay attention and don't gab in the Elevators! *LOL* Huh Kels! *LOL*
We head out to find my car. Ok so I lost my car in the parking
garage in the hustle!!
After searching for what seemed like hours of embarrassment on my behalf.*S*
This kind soul steps out of the elevator and says I take it you lost your car? *DUH*
Another gentleman drives up in a golf cart
and says hop on. We will find it.
(Mind you 5 adults and tons of luggage in one tiny little golf cart!)
I know I will never live this down!*LOL*
We find the car. Head to my house to meet Netgirl
She arrived just in Time to run the others to the
motel to check in on time.
All I can recall is so many cameras flashing I could not recall my name! *LOL*
We headed back to my house and picked up pizza, Kelsntegs was starving (again I might add)
We had stopped off and grabbed a
sandwich on the way back from the airport because she was starving!
I never saw a little lady that could eat so much! *LOL*
So we pick up pizza and wine, head to my house so they could all fight over my computer to check their email
Talk about puter withdrawals!
Then we just sat around and
, looked through some of my old photos and laughed allot.Nothing like a glass of good wine and good company to share it with. :o)
The next day we went to the local Eastwood Mall to shop a bit
WHAT fun!
OH GESH I almost forgot the part about trying to take the Amish buggy pictures. ZM finally got a good picture
from the road.
These poor Amish had to have flash burns when everybody got done!
*S* Try driving down a 55 MPH road and comming over a hill to see one or two of these in your lane.
Zm and all yelling slow down! I want a picture!!! *LOL*
We had plans later to go bowling watch a small town
band and just have some fun, but my NE Ohio weather had other plans.
We ended up with rain, freezing rain and 4 to 6 inches of snow in a 2 hours time
So we ran and picked up chicken dinners and we hung out here
at my house then headed back to the Motel at 20 mph on the icy roads,
and ordered Chinese (Kels was hungry again!LOL)
The last day they all came over, after stopping for breakfast cause Kels was starving again
(she's gonna bop me BTW..*S*)
We decided to get them a Taxi back to the airport so I would not have to find my car in one of the 3,
10 row high parking garages in the dark alone, at the airport.*S*
Want to hear something funny about meeting friends from the net? They actually DO answer to their nicknames! *LOL*
We found that we kept calling each other by our Net nicknames, funny part was we actually answered!! Well I don't know about them, but I personally had a fantastic time
Hope to do this again someday.
I know one thing for sure! I'll be sure to get a taxi out and back next time! *LOL* ~Patchy~
